He doesn’t know what comes over him then. Or maybe he does. Either way, his body moves before his brain realizes what he’s doing, and Remus leans across the way, stretching his arm out, and knocks the fruit clean out of Sirius’ hand. It hits the ground with a soft thud, wobbling against the edge of the blanket, then slowly succumbing to the pull of gravity and tumbling down the gentle slope of the hill right towards the edge of the lake.
Sirius’ eyes follow it for all of a second before snapping back to Remus’ face, indignation written in the frown of his lips and the pinch of his brows.
A pendulous second passes. Two. Three. They both blink at each other, eyes owlish, dumbfounded. Sirius breaks the silence.
“Remus,” he starts, “what the bloody hell was-”
Remus kisses him.

Gale flushes, if possible, even darker. “You don't have to seduce me, Astarion, I’m already…”

He lived in a strange limbo, thoroughly desired, reliable, he had more press-taken photos than personal snapshots; and he had had plenty of love letters and bouquets sent to his home. And yet... He'd never had a stable relationship, nor did he have many stable friendships that didn't die off in the first couple of weeks. The excuse was usually his busy schedule, but he knew better and he knew deeper, he had "no flaws", like a smooth wall no climber could hope to brave.

The cab's door closed with a soft *thud*.
Cross looked at the rear-view mirror, more professional than fully turning around to see the person he'd be driving around. He was just that, professional.
Or at least he tried to be, he hadn't been working as a taxi driver for very long, actually, but it was a nice enough job. The pay was good, even if the company that hired him was less than desirable. He'd climb his way up from there in due time.
Besides, the service was plenty when the city was so full of life.
Not this part, specifically. This part was nearly desolate, industrial estate thirty minutes away from it, no one in sight... except for the man that he had in his back seat.
Or,
Cross is an overworked taxi driver, too overworked to really judge the weird guy that keeps on requesting rides from random location to random location. He pays well, and Cross really just wants to get by. He knows nothing of the other, other than how nice he is to talk to, in the sea of tourists he has to drive around.
