Summary
Are you responsible for a crime you can't remember committing?
Enter the mind of a guilt-ridden former assassin as his quest for redemption is upended by a Mindflayer plot and a Sharran cleric. Join 'Pavel the Poet', the affable rogue as he struggles through Baldur's Gate 3!
This is a tale of overthinking moral quandaries, teamwork through gritted teeth, and the dangers of misplaced faith. At its core is the ever-evolving love story between a woman that yearns to remember, and a man desperate to forget. Can love redeem, or does it only blind? Is ignorance bliss? And to quote our favourite skeleton:What is the value of a single mortal life?
(This is a retelling of my first BG3 run from the POV of my poor Tav. Some poor choices and perfectly-timed bad rolls led to a wonderfully tragic story that I needed to put into writing. As it was my first playthrough, I miss content and make mistakes along the way, but that just adds to the angst! Above all, I was so moved by the DJ Shadowheart romance that I wanted to give it a good spotlight and perhaps alternate interpretation.)
TLDR Tav meets the 'I-Can-Fix-Her' character and decides "She can fix me" -

Summary
An accomplished assassin bites off more than he can chew after he takes a mysterious contract to murder a travelling hero...
(This is a fun little backstory I drew up for my Tav "Pavel the Poet", detailing his attitudes during his assassin days, as well as the turning point that set him on his attempted path of redemption. Set in and around Baldur's Gate in the months just before the start of BG3. Can be read as a stand-alone, or as a prologue for my upcoming retelling of my campaign as Pavel. Enjoy!)

Summary
The Faerun gods have deemed me worthy of bestowing these 31 days of (hopefully) interesting little tributes to many of the Baldur's Gate 3 characters, following the Whumptober prompts and themes.
I'll post a new poem each day, and I'm curious if you can guess who the day's main characters are in each one.
I've strived to include at least one poem for each companion (but if you read any of my prose, you know that I have favorites), so don't come at me if your favorite one only shows up once.
You can read these without any prior fandom exposure, they cover themes of death, nature, love, loss and many more.

Summary
"You can't possibly be this selfless. You must want something in return."
Tav replied, a little louder than intended, "What is wrong with you?!"
Realizing that at least Gale, if not all in camp heard her, she shot Astarion an apologetic glance as she started a high, fake laugh.
"Haha. You're so funny Astarion." She fake punched him in the arm and turned around, keeping a smile on her face, taking everyone in, as she started walking. The confusion on everyone's faces confirmed that she did good by trying to distract them. The only one who looked amused was Karlach.
"What's so funny, pale face? We could all use a laugh!"
"Oh, you had to be there!" Astarion managed to say, trying to keep up the charade and not look horrified.
---
Come on this journey with me while I retell the story of our favorite gang, from the Nautiloid to the end game (with many liberties).
I give you a common (for the most part, until a certain someone shows up) Tav, with no memories and no durge tendencies.
I add a spoonful of Astarion, a sprinkle of Gale and Halsin to spice things up.
