Summary
Now, someone walked into the room. A boy, awkwardly standing at the side of his bed, looking over him worriedly. His hair was brown and scruffy, and he had big baby doe eyes and a yellow-and-blue horizontally-striped shirt like a cartoon character. The window was lighting him up like he was important to Mike’s narrative. The curtains are blue, thought Mike, this boy is light. I love metaphors. Maybe he was high on the pain meds. Upon seeing him, Mike felt a great affection, a great peace. Plus, he had long eyelashes. Mike almost giggled to himself. He was definitely a little high.
“Hi.” breathed Mike.
“Hi.” he said, hesitating.
“We’re friends?” Mike asked hopefully.
Or: During the Party's final battle with Vecna, Mike is gravely injured and loses his memories. He wakes up in a hospital only remembering a handful of inconsequential little things, like how much he loves a boy who seems like light.

Summary
Mike means to say something tame. Something like “Hi.” simple, can’t possibly mess up a greeting, right?
Or maybe if he’s feeling confident (which he isn’t) say something like “Hey, could I maybe get your number?” Leaning against the counter or, “Could I ask when you get on your next break?”
But instead of something a normal human would say, or how Steve would chat up a hot girl (and apparently also guys? Shocking revelation) at a bar.
But instead of literally anything else, what comes out of Mike’s mouth is:
“Could you help me win a bet?”
Or:
Mike has to win a bet and prove he can get a date in less than two weeks to bring to Nancy’s Birthday party, before he has time to rethink it, their very hot waiter shows up to take his order, and Mike is staring too long, and not speaking right.Mike’s fucked basically.
(Also for the sake of this fic, the Byers live in NYC, and the Wheelers live in the state of New York.)

Summary
Will is captured by Vecna once again, forced to live through different realities, and one thing remains constant about every single one; Mike and Will are in a relationship. Is this just a tease from Vecna to break Will even more or is there a deeper meaning behind each reality?
At first, Will can't seem to remember why he is there in the first place, why and how he is switching realities. Will struggles to understand his situation as he falls deeper and deeper in love with Mike with every reality before it gets torn from under his feet.
Will he ever get back to his Mike safely? Will it even matter that he gets back? Mike doesn't like him the way the Mikes do in the alternate realities.

Will travels through realities in which he realizes he is in a relationship with Mike in every one excpet his own

Summary
There’s something wrong with Will.
It started three weeks ago, almost four. Will had woken from some sort of nightmare and, instead of seeking comfort in Mike the way he usually would, he’d rolled out a sleeping bag from the closet and chosen to sleep on the floor.
No one believes Mike, except for Joyce. But even she doesn’t understand the full extent to which something is wrong with Will.
Mike understands, though. Mike has been paying attention.
