Summary
Alpha soldier Sephiroth encounters an omega during a mission and shows little restraint towards him, despite his training to resist omega pheromones. He brings the omega back to Midgar, who adjusted to the dreary city. Cloud, the omega, reunites with his childhood friend and alpha soldier, Zack. His body endlessly craves Sephiroth while his friendship with Zack also becomes romantic. The three later discover that they are fated to be together— a rare bond for many alpha-omega pairs.
However, omegas aren't allowed to choose their mates. Shinra randomly assigns a soldier to mate with an omega in heat in hopes of quickly producing alpha offspring for Soldier. Cloud's freedom disappears before his very eyes when he realizes that he may not be with Zack and Sephiroth.

Summary
Every split in the timeline means one goes well and one goes badly. Statistically speaking, there has to be a timeline where everything goes wrong and everything is lost. But those timelines need to be pruned, sheared off the stronger branches where life still thrives. Cloud Strife is the only reason his current timeline exists. After giving Sephiroth the Black Materia to destroy the world, he's left to wander the barren landscape alone for all eternity. Unable to die because of his own link to Sephiroth, he's keeping this fading timeline open simply by existing. But Gaia needs this timeline gone, so there's only one option: Remove Cloud from it entirely, and hand him over to another.
But this new world is very different from the one he originally comes from. On Gaia's World of the Tree, the most important bond people have is with the planet, while in Odin's World of the Wolf, that honor belongs to the bonds between people. Lifemates and packs, to be precise, so this is going to be interesting.

Genesis Rhapsodos, meanwhile, has waited years for their final soulmate to appear. only for him to be a battle-worn blond who doesn’t even believe in soulmates
Unacceptable. But Genesis is nothing if not determined. If Cloud thinks he can outrun fate, he’s got another thing coming

Zack Fair is an alpha and a First-class SOLDIER. So are his three soulmates and they all love each other very much. Everything would be perfect if it wasn't for the fact that the fifth member of their pack, an omega, died before they even had a chance to meet them.
Cloud Strife is an omega, disguised as a beta and illicitly working as an infantryman. Omegas aren't allowed to work in the army. In fact, there are a lot of things people think omegas can't or shouldn't do. But Cloud isn't a regular omega. For starters, he has no desire to meet his fated pack and has gone to great lengths to keep them from finding him.
Now, all they need to do is wrap up this simple mudcrab-extermination mission, and everyone can go home and enjoy their weekend.

Summary
Shortly after the SOLDIER program was developed, scientists noticed a biological shift within those that had received the mako treatment. With changes in behaviour, and in some cases, altered reproductive systems, three types of SOLDIERS could be distinguished; Alphas, Betas and Omegas.
Cloud Strife is an Omega, which is the rarest of the three. Already struggling to adjust to his newfound reflexes, he has to deal with the other, unpleasant side effects of being an Omega. When Cloud’s first heat takes hold, the Alphas closest to him turn into a pack of testosterone-charged, snarling wolves. All of them are hell-bent on becoming his mate, and poor Cloud finds himself wondering where it all went wrong.
