Lance and his friends have been regulars at the Altea Dance Studio for years. Not just for classes, but to hang out, practice, and spend time with good people who love dancing. Every year, they audition to be one of the few representing Altea at the regional dance competition. Lance always auditions solo, but this year he misses out on auditions and blows his chance to participate. And so does his self-proclaimed rival, Keith.

“What? No! I’m--I’m not your subconscious, I’m your--” Keith starts, but he slams his lips together in a tight lock, then looks at the waves, while Lance sits up taller and leans in closer to him.
“My what?”
“Just--!” Keith starts, getting frustrated and pinching the bridge of his nose. “I’m real, okay? We’re not--this isn’t--we’re having a shared dream.”
Lance never thought he had a soulmate, but when he finds himself dreaming about a boy on Varadero Beach and in a southwestern desert, he learns they have an incredibly rare soul link–-one that allows them to form an unusually strong bond before they meet, but also exposes their greatest vulnerabilities to each other.

Summary
Keith’s friends only said they were going to take him out drinking for his 21st birthday. They purposefully left out the part about that drinking taking place at the strip club one town over. They also failed to mention the ridiculously oversized, glittery abomination of a cowboy hat with “I JUST TURNED 21” sequined along the brim they had acquired, and how they were going to force him to wear it for the night.
Shiro gives Keith a lapdance for his birthday. That's about it.
Actually, I lied. This is where all my Yeehaw AU fic will go, fluff and smut and everything in between.
