78 of those moons had been spent in the Shrieking Shack. 43 moons were spent locked in a silver cage in Knockturn Alley.
Regardless of where or who he spent them with, those 152 moons meant he had experienced his spine breaking, neck snapping, and legs shattering 152 times.

Summary
Derek is a young werewolf of the Hale pack. He does not like his sisters (okay, most of the time anyway) and spends his days wandering further and further out into the preserve to avoid the noise of his house and find the peace and quiet he enjoys.

However, things don't always go as planned. With a little accident, the potion was turned into something else entirely... one that can also force the demon to fall in love.
