Summary
Gerard Keay, clad in a heavy leather jacket and fingerless gloves, marches his way out of his and his mother’s “house”, Pinhole Books. Another day of Leitner hunting as per his mother’s request.
Except… something is different when he walks through the threshold. Sure, he wasn’t 100% certain it was sunny earlier when he looked out the window, but that wasn’t the only thing setting his alarms off. Something, clearly, very wrong. It all clicks when a familiar someone leaves from the same door he had thought to have come out of moments before; wearing a face he’s only seen in the few photos he could save from Mary’s hand.
Gerard Keay is fooled into the past with the door of the Distortion. How will he react to meeting his father for practically the first time, considering he was five the last time they’d spoken. Now, after 17 years of being at Mary’s beck and call, he’s trapped in the past without anyone other than his pre-father father to look towards.

However, this did not happen. The Web didn't account for Jon himself becoming more than marked and so he was... repurposed.

Summary
The lonely leads Peter to a hidden seal skin that belongs to a selkie. Peter takes it, knowing the fear would be delectable when he threw it in the Lonely.
But when he met the Jon himself, he found the selkie was eye aligned. He decides to give the skin to Elias, in exchange, the other stops looking over his ship so often, even if he couldn't see it, it still made him shudder.
__Or Jon was to curious for his own good, shead his seal skin and went to explore a ship covered in fog, only to get his skin taken and left with a man with a weird eye obsession
__Selkies- mythological creatures in Celtic and Norse folklore, known for their ability to shapeshift between seals and humans by shedding and replacing their seal skin. If a human gets their skin, that human is considered the selkies spouses

Suddenly, the way your fingers fidget with each other looks interesting enough to stare at.
“Should I go get my ears pierced again?” Isa tries to fill in the blank. You can practically hear the blush in his voice.
“No, not like that. Not like a piercing. Like…”
You knew where this was going from the start, but you still feel too embarrassed to say it out loud. Instead, you make sure Isa is looking at you. Once he is, you catch his gaze with yours, part your lips, and Craft your fangs out.
“...Oh.”
