Summary
The time has come. Riku is finally going to tell Sora that he loves him, and has done so for years. Only five things need fixing. One: Sora's goldfish level attention span. Two: his sexy new neighbor, Roxas, who happens to be in a band. Three: Riku’s anxiety, that, due to a multitude of environmental factors, is reaching fever pitch. Four: looming joblessness, schoolessness, and homelessness due to said factors. Five: Sora's fiendish half brother Vanitas, whose fault it all really is. Because good guys always win out in the end, no matter how stacked the odds are against them, and Riku is definitely the good guy in this situation.

"I hate talking," Riku said again, softer this time because they were very close, and because he had made Sora flinch and he hated that, too. "I'm bad at it. Why do we have to talk about things I feel? Can't I just feel them? Can't you? If I do this--"
He bent and kissed Sora's mouth once, twice.
"--don't you know what I mean?"
Thoroughly red beneath his freckles, Sora touched his face, as though Riku had left something behind there. Atlantica's light rippled over them; the effect was like being underwater.
"I don't know," Sora said finally. "Maybe if you do it again."
This damn kid.
