Because none of us are angry. We’re just- tired, and relieved, and…” He swallowed thickly. “You know, when you were standing there, ready to die, I was so fucking scared. If I’m mad about anything, it’s that you would ever think you deserved that. Losing you after just getting you back would have been... I don't think I'd have been able to cope with it, and- God, I was just so fucking scared, Mike.”

You survived a fucking spider-clown stabbing you through the gut with its stupid fucking tentacle, you don’t owe anyone shit.”Or, Eddie lives, and instead of watching him go back to New York to a life that made him miserable, Richie asks him to join him on a road trip back to L.A., not caring about how terrifying it would be to spend a week in the car with the man he'd recently fallen back in love with.
