It had been over a year since Ed’s heart died. The Kraken ruled the seas without mercy. Another pirate captain reaches out to Blackbeard with a potential business proposal. He's got some merchandise that's going to make everyone filthy rich, and he wants a partner.

Summary
I don't know why I wrote this. I don't expect anyone to read it except for the person who wrote the original fic. This is a fanfic of another fanfic where Stede is kidnapped and brainwashed into being a sex slave and then Ed happens upon him. This universe has been living rent free in my mind since I read it and I had a few ideas for other scenes that could happen. This is canon compliant (canon to the fic) up until the second last chapter and then diverges from there. You really need to have read the other fic to understand this so I'm really narrowing my readership pool here but never mind. These scenes wouldn't leave my mind alone and I'm gonna make it AO3's problem

Summary
Alpha Ed Teach meets omega Stede Bonnet over a business proposal. He doesn't expect the power to go out all over the city and them to be trapped together in a small apartment, but suppressants linger in the body for long enough it shouldn't be a problem before the power comes back on.
The problem is that "shouldn't" isn't the same as "won't."

Summary
The leathers don’t fit anymore.
Trying them on again is a lark. They sit at the bottom of a drawer, under other, more precious things, and Ed imagines them disintegrating with time. He had dreamt a pretty dream about the early days, the curiosity between the two of them and how every glance made Ed’s heart stutter. (That still happens. Ed is forever taken with him.)
Ed had woken and wanted to see how it felt. To don his old uniform, to look in the mirror and see a vision of days past, or whatever. Ed rolls his eyes in hindsight. It was a romantic idea. He can’t get them up over his thighs.

Summary
Ed Teach is a freshly minted lawyer who is given what he thinks is a routine job - transfer of property to someone with limited ID. Easy, right? Instead he’s faced with Stede, a unique robot owned by the Bonnet household. And Stede's unique brain allows him to grow, and develop a creativity and an individuality that he was never meant to have, and most importantly, to want.
It’s bad enough, in this world, that humans want. Ed has spent his whole life pushing that urge down, to work towards what he’s supposed to aim for. Has fought hard not to stay in the mould that he was destined for, but has had to fight just as hard to tamp down his own wants to fit into the one he’s chosen. Has cut bits off and tried to forget how to want them. He can see why unbridled desire appearing in a robot - no shame, no need for conformity, only logic pathways and the Three Laws to guide them - would freak them out.
