Summary
One minute, Ryland Grace’s rent and utilities go skyward. The next, the price of his meds decides to follow suit. Then, he finds a scruffy brown tabby cat (covered in paint) down on its luck and his heart wins him over, taking the cat in and trying to find it a shelter.
With the extra bills and a new cat to try to take care of and eventually re-home, Grace decides he needs some extra cash.
He needs to get a roommate.

Summary
Mercury wishes he could tilt his head back and groan in annoyance, so he does it in his head, trying to avoid a solar flare to the face. By now, Venus has already run off, obviously not wanting to stay for the Sun’s ‘hilarious’ puns.
“What’s my favourite day of the week?”
“...What is it?”
“SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!”
The Sun laughs hysterically... and Mercury just barely resists rolling his eyes.
OR - Mercury notices the Sun's rising heat. :)

Summary
After that...incident, X could have returned to the solar system, but not only had he grown attached to some of the members of the rogue planet kingdom, he also knew that the Sun wasn't aware of the change in leadership, and though he knew Sun had changed, any small misunderstanding could snowball into a catastrophe.
X would say he was relieved when the Sun began to enter its red giant phase, if he hadn't cried himself to sleep the night he found out. Some small child inside of him still looked up to what could've been a father figure, had the circumstances been better. From the moment X got flung out, it became impossible, but he could still dream.
It took a short while to decide to leave. The system is destroyed, and now they only have one place to turn to.
