"No," he says it immediately, instinctively. His last couple attempts were measly and pathetic. Overall not much of an enjoyable experience. But then he lets himself think it over more, and maybe it's the weed starting to take over, but shotgunning is starting to sound more and more intriguing and he decides fuck it; he might as well. "Wait yeah actually. Fuck. I don't know. Let's do it."
Sapnap's grin gets wider upon hearing Dream's words. "Hell yeah dude this is going to be so epic. I'm going to send it to George."

George was good at stunning Dream into warm flustered silence, working his mouth as he failed to get any words out. George giggled, eyes falling back to the notebook he held. He was trying to read this time, his gaze sliding along the lines as he stumbled over Dream’s messy handwriting.
“I-” Dream said, halting as George looked up at him again. His voice felt strained, trapped in his throat and only escaping in a little creaky burst. “I wanna be more. Than best friends.”
“You are more than my best friend,” George replied, soft as if he might scare Dream off, and Dream’s words were gone again.

Dream was a jealous person. He knew that and George did, too, even if that didn't keep either of their affections from wandering.

“You know that isn’t true,” Dream says, and maybe it comes out a little more aggressive than he meant it to. George goes quiet. “I wouldn’t choose between you because I love you both, but you know I love you differently.”
It’s quiet.
Extremely quiet.
dream knew meeting george would make his love for him even worse. he just didn't know it'd be this bad.
