Summary
A Game of Thrones modern AU where everybody is sort of BDSM leaning, everybody has a slightly(much) better backstory and life than in the show, and where people are genuienly good people. At least the ones I really tend to show on scene ;)
I maintain that this sprouted from the need to have a reason for Jaime to call Brienne 'Ser' in a modern AU. That is all.

Suddenly, a rush of blood goes down her back, and she feels it, as unlikely as it might sound. She’s also sure another went to her cheek because her face feels on fire.
She leans down and kisses him again, hard, her thighs moving around his sides as she presses up closer, and she needs to be out of her clothes and she needs him to be out of his, too —
When she moves back, she looks down at him. He has a knowing look in his eyes, a raised eyebrow, as if he’s daring her to take that full leap, and she can feel how hard he is under his breeches, for her, gods, for her —
“Say it again,” she blurts, her hands going to his breeches, undoing the laces.
“What do you mean exactly,” he grins, slow, not moving his hands, “Ser?”

Stannis tries to not sigh loudly. It would not do in front of the Hand of the King.
“You have the raven, my lord. He says he wishes to resign from the Kingsguard as he has not been here for a full year and does not plan to come back, and that he’s perfectly happy roaming the Stormlands and the Trident along with the last Evenstar.”
“The last Evenstar.”
“Yes.”
“The abomination.”
Stannis shrugs. “Technically she is one, but I can assure my lord Hand that she is actually quite competent to discuss with.” He’d know. She had better ideas for actually helping the commoners than most of his advisors. He wishes he could make her one.
“Competent. She’s an abomination.”
“She’s a useful one,” he shrugs. “Also, your son does not seem to agree.”
Or: in which Jaime goes to Tarth to slay a supposed monster terrorizing the Stormlands to do something honorable with his life.It doesn't go like that at all.

But Ren, who's looking far too calm and collected for someone seconds away from death, invites him for one last conversation at the table. As a last gesture of respect, Goro agrees to this request...starting off a chain of events that completely derails the rigged and twisted game that a megalomaniac dictator and god have tried to trap them in.
