Summary
Camille meets someone new and becomes great friends with that person. But, there's something secretive about her new friend... At the same time, Richard is trying to figure out what he really wants in life, and he's struggling with his feelings for Camille.
Set a little more than a month after the end of Series 2. AU, series 3 ff. don’t exist. ~ Includes references to ‘A Meditation on Murder’ (No. 1 of the ‘Death in Paradise’ novels), in this universe, the novel is set somewhere between Series 1 and 2. The other novels haven't 'happened'.

Summary
This is my take on how things *could* have developed after Richard's sudden departure from Saint Marie. The series begins right after Series 4 / episode 4 (when Camille leaves the island to pursue her new job in France) and finishes half a year later, around the time Series 4 actually comes to an end. So, it kind of ties up loose ends before Series 5 begins. Part 1, 2 and 4 are rated T, part 3 is rated M. - Have fun reading :-)
