Summary
It's the summer of '91. Enter Sandman is on the radio, Jeffery Dahmer was just arrested, and 12 year old Dean and 8 year old Sam are spending a few days in Blue Moon, Montana. Only a few days, right?
Dean makes a friend, finds a case, and waits for his dad to come back. He also swims in the river, watches Thelma and Louise in theaters, gives himself a stick and poke, and wishes his dad wouldn't come back.
Sam, on the other hand, is reading as much as he can, stealing Dean's new best friend, and noticing the cracks in the story Dean tells him about their life.

Summary
Trench was used to sitting on lots of objects, sitting in lots of cars. Baby was used to accommodating articles of clothing (mostly of the flannel variety), and many different items. Of course, Trench was not yet used to being dragged along on celestial plots, and Baby was not yet used to that happening in her backseat. Still, weirdness was the one constant in their daily lives, so the day the trench coat and car met was like any other.
By now they’ve met several times over the years, caught in the crossfires of their two owners' friendship and pining. But when Trench is forced to spend months in Baby's trunk, will they finally watch their owners find love? And can they make something of their own?
A mostly canon-adjacent fic following Dean and Cas through the eyes of Baby— and the eyes of Trench, her partner in crime.

Summary
After completing his AA in Kansas, Dean transfers to the University of Washington for a blank slate. He just wants to drink overly expensive coffee and pass his classes, but instead he meets the intriguing Castiel. They become acquaintances, then friends, and might be on the way to becoming something more. But before they can find out, Cas sets out on a quest to find the father he’s never met, forcing Dean to confront memories of his own father along the way.

"No one hates you as much as you do," Crowley told him once. That's Dean's whole M.O. right there. His two fundamental truths are that it is his job to save everyone, and that no matter how many people he saves it will never change the fact that he is 90% crap.
Dean knows who he is. Yeah, he's done some good for the world, okay, he gets that. But deep down? The person he is inside is still worthless. Dean will never be good enough, never be any kind of role model. He's never going to shake that, so if that's what this whole seven trials angelic bullshit is about, then he and Cas might as well hold hands and drive off the cliff now.

Summary
“It frustrates me,” Cas mutters, “how the same sensation can feel sometimes good, and sometimes not.”
Dean’s hand is still rubbing slowly down the length of his spine, like he’s petting the valley between the wings he can’t see. “Well, that’s just par for the course,” Dean rumbles. “Sometimes a body wants touch and sometimes it wants to be left the fuck alone.”
Cas always wants touch. At least from Dean. He doesn’t say so. “It frustrates me how much good and bad I can feel at the same time.”
“Oh, buddy,” Dean says. “Yeah.”
(After the perfect darkness of the Empty, Cas finds the world a little...overwhelming. Dean tries to help.)

Dean had said, “I’m right there with you, I don’t like loud noises either. I mean, being afraid of loud noises is a good thing, though. It’s just your body telling you something big is happening and that you might need to get somewhere safe. Is that what happened on Tuesday when all the lockers went crazy?”
A pause.
“Did you see anything that seemed weird, or did you make yourself safe in one of the rooms?”
And it struck Castiel then how Dean phrased that. How he didn’t say Did you hide? as in Did you run away? as in Were you not brave enough of a little soldier to stay and figure out just what was trying to hurt you?
He had said- Did you make yourself safe?
or the one where dean and cas are investigating a haunting in an elementary school, things are still new between them, and cas has more love than he knows what to do with

Summary
While collecting research material for his dissertation on queer aesthetics and desire in the pre-Stonewall era - in a word, old nudes - Castiel comes across a set of photographs irrelevant to his research but very relevant to his own desires. The last thing he expects is to run into the model in those photographs or to find him even more captivating in real life.

Summary
Dean feels his face warm up, suddenly all too aware that he’s sitting right next to his very male friend. He can’t make himself look over, too nervous that he’ll catch Eli’s eye and make this whole experience even more excruciatingly awkward. He wants to leave, but he also doesn’t wanna call attention to how uncomfortable he is.
He’s known gay people exist of course, but he’s never seen them outside of Very Special Episodes on sitcoms. Never seen something so explicitly, in-your-face gay.

At seventeen, Dean falls for another man for the first time. Twenty years later they happen to meet again and things are somehow much more complicated.
