Daenerys Velaryon was the subject of talk for many.
Not only for her dark crown of curls and her dark eyes, absent of any Valyrian features that were strong within Targaryen blood but so painfully common in the descendants of the first men and the members of House Strong. But because as her mother's first born, was in line to inherit the throne -- the second woman in all of Westerosi history. Many believed it to have been a last case scenario, with Viserys' the Peaceful unable to produce a son and having lost a wife, bestowing his daughter as heir as a gift.
But when Princess Rhaenyra continues the law of inheritance, regardless of gender, to Daenerys, who already garners suspicion for her parentage, the seeds of war begin to sprout amongst the lords and ladies of the realm. With the Greens lurking on either side, especially after a debt was spoken into existence and blood was spilled, the House of the Dragon begins to turn into itself becoming a rotten festering core of betrayal, ready to be set aflame -- and Daenerys is at the very center. She has a debt that lingers over her head, who neither the Queen nor her uncle have forgotten, and live to see it paid.
