No one answered him, but then Diluc sighed, shifted a little on the bed he was sitting on, and said, “What do you mean for a reason?”
“Like maybe we are all part of something bigger,” Aether answered, “Something that we don’t understand yet.”
Kaeya laughed from where he was sitting on his chair, legs propped up on his desk and head hanging down on the other side, “I think if some great entity gave superpowers to people to save the world or whatever, they wouldn’t choose us,” he raised one of his arms and pointed at his bed, “Diluc is here too after all.”
There was a pillow flying over Aether’s head before Kaeya let out a muffled oof.
