    Steve Rogers no se había vinculado a Bucky Barnes. Ya no estaba en una relación con Bucky Barnes. Bucky ya no tenía obligaciones con él a excepción del anillo de estaño tan desgastado y oxidado el cual colgaba de sus placas de identificación. Bucky no tenía promesas que romper, porque no las recordaba. Steve estaba bien con ello, en serio. Tendría que estarlo, porque Bucky ya no era suyo. En su lugar, Bucky tenía el cariño de Natasha y Steve no iba a interponerse en su camino.

    Steve iba a dejar que Bucky se marchara, incluso si eso lo mataba e incluso si su corazón se estaba destrozando en un millón de pedazos al ver a su mejor amigo―su alma gemela―en una relación con alguien más.
