Summary
Steve Harrington is an up and coming (reluctant) pop star running from the cookie cutter factory that is the pop music industry.
He runs back to Hawkins to get away from it all.
Eddie Munson was a local legend- underground, cult metal band, who's frontman died too young in '86.
Steve runs into him in the woods and they become inexplicably attached.
Good thing Eddie likes singing with the only person who can see him (his new crush) and Steve has always had a bad habit of falling in love with unattainable bad boys (not even death can stop him apparently). -

Summary
Getting dropped into the Stranger Things Universe in the boathouse where Eddie Munson is currently hiding out could have gone better. Unfortunately, dimension traveling isn't an exact science. Honestly, its kind of a shot in the dark at the best of times.
At least they landed near the person they were looking for.
The timing could have been better.
And they had some notes on the point of arrival.
Being that it was just behind the boat where Eddie was currently hiding under a tarp, in fear for his life. Would have been a smoother entrance if it had been about six feet over, in the actual boathouse, and three feet above the water instead of below it.

Summary
It was another one of those nights- Steve was running through the dark trees, waking nightmare chasing him down.
He prayed his footing stayed true. He prayed that his breaths didn't falter. He prayed that the hungry darkness falling fast in his shadow didn't catch him.
He prayed to all the gods. Every deity he had ever learned of, all the new gods, and the old. He prayed until the sweat burning his eyes blinded him and he felt a root leap up in front of his foot.
He stumbled but did not fall.
But the sound of a snapping maw was closing around the dust he kicked up.
Suddenly, in his desperation, a name floated from the depths of his erratic heart to the tip of his bitten tongue.
"Eddie the Banished, of the Fallen Forest— Please- Please," Steve huffed, a force behind the name punched through his diaphragm and left him no air to plead with.

Summary
Inspired by Harry's SNL Little Mermaid photos
Louis spends his days taking photographs of nature and landscapes around the tiny, seaside town he's moved to for his new project. His favourite spot- the deserted pier, along a deserted stretch of beach. Scanning the sea with his lens, he spots something rather strange in the water.
Every day he comes back, this strange thing comes a little closer. Soon he realizes it's a beautiful boy who has been watching him too. Strangely, the boy doesn't speak or seem to be able to hear him, though they always seem to understand each other.
One day, Louis gets up the nerve to give the beautiful boy a kiss. Not expecting this, Harry startles, flashing a shining purple tail fin in his wake. Louis doesn't know whether to cry at the rejection or laugh because he's clearly lost his mind.
Never in his wildest dreams could he have come up with MERMAN to explain why he's only seen Harry in the sea by the empty pier. Now he has to win back Harry's trust while coming to terms with MYTHICAL CREATURES EXISTING.
He thinks he handles the shock pretty well, considering that Louis had thought the biggest thing the boy could be hiding was a penchant for exercising in the nude.
