”What are you doing?” Lestat asked in a voice cracking with the weight of the unknown, with the weight of fear and hope.“Trying to figure all this out,” Louis murmured as he interlocked their fingers. Lestat’s hands, large but graceful, easily dwarfed his own. There was no warmth to share between them. Not physically, anyhow. But the tug on his heart was too strong to ignore. It might as well have been a bonfire they built together.

He feels frozen in panic. It’s their second day together and he’s lost her. He’s lost his dog.
He’s spiralling until suddenly there’s a little yip noise and Bucky snaps his head up to see his dog in front of him, in the arms of someone else.
“Ohmygod,” he hisses out in pure relief, breathing hard. He doesn’t think he’s ever been so relieved in all his life.
“Is this your dog?” the owner of the arms asks.

"Well, I didn’t think a druid like yourself would be so shy about a little lack of clothing. Besides, you already got a good eyeful—I hope."Halsin sets out to soak in some sun. Astarion has the same idea, but naked.
