Summary
On a journey to his estate, Cardinal Richelieu and his soldiers stumble into a group of bandits attacking a woman on the road. Compelled to intervene, Richelieu's soldiers rescue the woman from her assailants, only to find her wounded and unconscious.
Fearing that she may be a spy or part of a plot to assassinate him, Richelieu takes the injured stranger to his household to be cared for and to uncover her true identity. As she regains consciousness, it becomes apparent that she has lost her memories, leaving her past shrouded in mystery with only a tiny light over it, her name, Clara.
Despite the lingering doubt in his mind, Richelieu finds himself increasingly drawn to the enigmatic Clara. Her bright smiles and kind spirit slowly soften his unmovable heart, leading him to question everything he thought he knew about love and trust.

Summary
Malcolm Tucker, a 30-year-old media manager who is on the rise as Downing Street's Dark Prince has an unexpected encounter with Rose Tyler, a single mum whose son has Cerebral Palsy. Rose publicly picks apart a policy designed to help impoverished families that has taken his party over a year to write, and she destroyed it in less than 5 minutes... in front of a room of reporters and slack jawed politicians.
Malcolm is pretty sure he hates her, but he's intrigued. He's furious and is ready to destroy her but quickly realizes he can't. Instead, he needs her help. He realizes that she holds the key to fixing all the problems in their policy because she's already doing so much of it on a smaller level.
For her part, Rose is over politicians who polish turds and then expect praise. She's too busy with work, her son's healthcare, education, and social needs to be bothered with a man who can't seem to finish a sentence without insulting someone.
