Summary
Picture it: a puzzle that tears itself apart and shoves its pieces back together for others to marvel at. Only problem is the pieces all end up in the wrong places, and rather than right itself, the puzzle will always press harder, file down its edges until it can’t even recognize the parts of itself it’s forcibly stripping away.
Translation: Kaveh’s the puzzle and he’s so fucking illogical it makes Alhaitham’s stomach turn.
They’re the same in that they both have a buzzing under their skin. Alhaitham finds relief in silence. Kaveh finds relief in Alhaitham.

Summary
“Which one should I use today?” Kaveh fucking purred and the pinging sound went off the wall. There was a soft, low chuckle from the omega and some shuffling, then a loud smack! that had Alhaitham throwing the door open.
He was feral, ready to fight whoever had dared lay a hand on Kaveh, but the omega was alone.kaveh has been paying his rent on time, alhaitham is suspicious.

Summary
A lack of communication, a misplaced suspicion, and two Akasha terminals mixed with a drunken tinkering and nosy Kshahrewar architect create an accidental problem about to wreak absolute havoc upon Alhaitham and Kaveh's lives.
Little did Kaveh realize, he managed to create a link between the two devices. And not simply one to transfer data. Oh, no. It was far deeper of a connection than that.
A junior's repressed intense sexual desires, deliberate miscommunication, and a senior's priorly trampled feelings all eventually become known in the worst ways.
After all, the risks of the Akasha could be worsened with tampering. It was a device that worked directly on the brain.
And Kaveh had just unknowingly linked Alhaitham and his own Akashas, and minds, together in a way that was about to be absolute torture to their already turbulent relationship.

Summary
Somehow, they end up like this, Kaveh’s shirt half off and Al-Haitham’s own shirt hastily unbuttoned, and now they’re both just staring at each other in the mortifying emptiness of Al-Haitham’s apartment.
“This isn’t supposed to be happening,” Kaveh says, chest heaving. “You go against everything I stand for.”
Al-Haitham scoffs. “Oh, get over yourself, it’s a school club.”
“Fuck you too,” Kaveh hisses, and then he kisses him.
In which two enemies (Al-Haitham and Kaveh) despite their bitter rivalry (opposing college club loyalties) come together in spite of their differences. (They hook up. Occasionally. Like Kaveh said, it wasn't supposed to happen.)
Al-Haitham just wants to get to know Kaveh. Enough of this rivalry bullshit.

Nagi and Reo have been bleeding into each other's veins since they’ve known each other.
How the fuck do you convey something like that with words?

He stares down at it for a long moment, and Nagi watches him collapse, shivering from head to toe, until he presses his face into Nagi's shoulder and begins to cry, choking as he drags an inhale through his teeth. "Nagi," he whispers. His hand tightens in Nagi's, pulling at his skin until he thinks he might bleed.
Nagi cradles Reo's head and stares at the ceiling. Reo's not yelling. He's not mad, he's not telling Nagi to leave. He's not rejecting him, and surely that is a victory, and yet—
Reo isn't happy.

"I'm only interested in one of them," Nagi says. Then, by way of explanation, he adds, "The one that looks like you."
Reo stiffens. Nagi's hand goes right to his shoulder, as if trying to comfort him. "Why?" Reo chokes out, thankful for once that Nagi's gaze is fixed only on his phone.
"I'm practicing for when you and I start dating."
