The animal swiftly jumped off her grasp and pounced on her neck resting on her shoulders and curling around her neck. It stubbornly refused to go back to the bank as Amity felt that the top of her spaghetti strap was being pulled by the otter’s little maw latching on it.
Amity didn't plan to have an otter as a pet. But, this was a change that she had never thought would escalate in a way it did.
