Amnesia, that word hit Fudou hard in the chest, looking up from the uncomfortable hospital chair he was sitting on because his legs were unable to support him.
Amnesia. He raised his hand to his face, a tear slipping between his long fingers. At least… Kidou was alive. After hearing that he was run over by a car, he feared the worst.
Amnesia. His sea-green eyes filled with deep sadness glowed in desperation. That was his fault, if only he had walked Kidou home after training like he always did.

Fudou drops out of Teikoku for unknown reasons. Kidou starts looking like he's gone through bear traps and picked street fights when he knows he's done none of those.

“Charles Rowland, hi!” said Charles, already wincing at his own timing. He hadn’t realised the ghost was winding up to the big reveal. Whoops.Or: A ghost from the past comes knocking. Charles gets justice; Edwin gets a hint.

“You can’t be here,” Gi-hun says, rough, hushed enough for the bystanders to not catch. They probably still do, the silence in the dormitory deafening.
“You weren’t supposed to be here,” Young-il says in return, leaning his head on the wall. He sighs and closes his eyes briefly. “You weren’t supposed to find out like this.”

The Front Man watches intently as two pink soldiers carry Gi-hun down the hall, heading back to staff dorms. Gi-hun seems half-aware, his body quaking from the beating he took. The former player is insistent on walking by himself despite how badly each step seems to hurt.
In-ho finds Seong Gi-hun fascinating. It was clear Gi-hun wanted to become a player again so that he might be able to save the others and end the games once and for all - which is exactly why the In-ho made him a soldier instead. He wanted to watch Gi-hun fight against his control and struggle to save even a single life as a guard. Maybe that way he would finally learn that this place is inevitable.
That is also one of the reasons In-ho decided to go undercover as another soldier, so he might get closer to Gi-hun and understand him better - even if only to use that against him.Regardless, through physical and emotional torture, the Front Man would finally break Player 456.
It was only a matter of time.OR: Squid Game 2, but the Front Man/Hwang In-ho tries to break Gi-hun by making him a soldier instead of a player.

In-ho looked at her, and for the first time, he could not maintain the calculated, innocent face of Young-il, or the cold, emotionless mask of the Front Man.
