This is an excellent fic. One of the rare ones for me, one who talked to me on a deeper level.
It contains EVERYTHING I love and gorgeously written. I'll try to remember everything that caught my heart. (It'll be a comment for every chapter, sorry!)First thing I noted, Hans and Henry's relationship is masterfully understood and reinterpreted. I loved Hans's attitude to death. Pushing the difference of classes between them as not just something they can work around but as a real deal is very thoughtful and accurate for the time. And allow some intense dramas that, DAMN you know your way of.
The firsts chapters with Henry despair were so vivid, there is a sentence I noted where Henry have an heartache so intense he wished he it was an cardiac arrest.
I'm a Hans fangirl and a drama addict, so the fluff won't be were I put the most of my praises but very sweet, very pleasant and feel deserved. Awesome.And then Hans becomes a bitch, and there the fic became a masterpiece. This is SO well done. The bitterness, the terror... For fuck sakes, he talk SO bad to Henry in the best of way! The most incurious way of "don't do that you big moron! You have it stupid! Get it!"
And when Henry say "Did I do something to you?". Absolute cinema. And then Hans go fucking crying because he can't deal with his emotion... You're cruel, in the best of way.But the cruelest, the most vile: Black Bartosh.
Oh man. This man. Maybe you have the Interstellar meme were the main character goes "Noo, NOOOO!" It's was me. No Henry, not this way! Don't fall for the burly knight! Don't have the best sex scene of the fic with him! Focus Henry, FOCUS!!And then the last scene were nothing is said, everything is understood. There was not better way of finishing this work.
So good little job. Nice nice. Good read!

I wanted to see a fanfic with this setting for a long time: Just after Hans almost died hanged. This is one of the most Hansry important moment to me, without it, nothing could have happen. I did the same in my game to tell him that nobody would be proud of him for the sake of the drama, like Henry has to be a little shitty too to balance it out. The end is very nice also (y'know, y'know)

Summary
Jimmy only wanted to help. It seems all he's done is made things significantly worse.
He's reigned over Bullworth Academy for one short week, and already the vultures are circling to take his title. Meanwhile, Gary has been involuntarily incarcerated in Happy Volts, and is struggling to hold onto what little sanity he has left. When Jimmy's secret visits and Gary's escape attempt collide, they end up fighting all over again - against each other, themselves, and the truths they don't want to admit.
