“What’s your wager, Malfoy?” Tom interrupted Draco’s more lurid thoughts.
Draco bit back a scoff. “You actually want to bet something the first time you play?”
“Afraid you’ll lose to me like you do to Hermione?” The darkness in Tom’s eyes deepened as he glanced at the witch appraisingly.
“Please, I’m merely concerned you’ll be a sore loser. Not having much experience with it on the whole.” He smiled fawningly but gave it a bit of teeth. “The first time might sting.”
“Is that so?” His words were so low, Draco barely registered them. “Well, if you're so confident, Malfoy, let’s make this interesting.” Tom’s gaze pierced Hermione. “If I win, I get her. For the night.”

“Don’t touch the screen,” she said with a sharp tsk.
He shot her an incredulous look. “I wasn’t going to–” Jesus. He pointedly hovered his finger an appropriate distance from the screen. “This is the dip you noticed?”
She turned back to the monitor, instantly diverted.

“Granger,” he repeats, hissing it this time, practically spitting the word at her in his hushed fury. “Get the fuck back here.”
She points her index finger at him. “Stay.”
