Summary
Hermitopia is seen as the pinnacle of many things. Luxury, religion, and education to name a few. Though Grian had never been too interested in Hermitopia's finer sights, having moved there for the benefits of college.
But what happens when he's dragged into a conflict between heroes and villains against his will, and is forced to step up as a new vigilante? He'll do what he can, even when a particular villain doesn't seem to want to leave him alone.
When an unlikely romance blooms, will it end in love or tragedy?

That's mostly true, aside from two little things. Each of them don't know the other's identity, and Hotguy is stubbornly blind to his partner's massive crush on him!Meanwhile, Hotguy has his eye on a certain celebrity popstar who he 'definitely hasn't met in person while in the popstar persona he also definitely doesn't have what are you talking about-' who seems to want no part in dealing with him.
Award time has come around and everyone's excited, hopefully nothing goes wrong at the Undead Awards that evening...

The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

The insurmountable sound of the roof caving in, the support beams failing, and the marble decorations shattering around him seemed to stop all at once. There was nothing but silence. Cold, abrupt, threatening silence.
As quickly as it had begun, the disaster simply ceased.
“Woah,” an unknown voice chimed, echoing through the rubble. A man smiled down at him, his expression bordering somewhere between surprised and amused. “You’ve caused quite a bit of chaos here, haven’t you?”
