Summary
After winning the 33rd Squid Game, Gi-hun believed he would be left alone with only his ghosts and regrets. But the unexpected annual arrival of romantically disturbing Halloween cards on his birthday made him realize he was being haunted by a shadow of a man he refuses to rest until he is found.
A story where hatred and obsession begin to blur.

Summary
"I hate you." Gi-hun says between sniffs. “I hate you.”
In-ho drops the gun, pulls his arm and takes him into a hug. Gi-hun doesn't hug him back, but rests his forehead on his shoulder. "I hate you."
"I know." He runs his fingers through Gi-hun's hair; it really is growing back. "I know."
“I hate you.” His tears dampen In-ho's shirt but he doesn't care. He doesn't dare to let him go.
“Shh… I know.”
The island was destroyed. All that's left are two winners who are learning to deal with the burden of survival.

Summary
"I fear I won't be able to connect with anyone else ever again." He looked at In-ho. "And I fear you did this on purpose. You don't want me to have anything in my life except for you. You took away everything I had until all I had left was you."In-ho didn't deny it. Rather defended himself. "You can't blame me for everything that went wrong with you. I am not responsible for your poor life decisions."
"But you enjoyed every second of it."
"I was under the impression I was never going to see you again. I made my peace with it back then. You were the one who didn't. You came to me. Of course I enjoyed it. Every second."
Their separation was a lie. They could never be apart. Not really. Gi-hun and In-ho were connected by a thread. Once they were far from each other, one would still feel the pull of the other. Even though both had a knife to cut the thread, they simply never did it. In the end, it was a choice from both to not let go.

Summary
“Then why do you want to help me so badly? If no one was there for you.”
Gi-hun smiles, warm and open, like he doesn’t notice the suspicion and frustration that undoubtedly stain In-ho’s voice. “That’s exactly why I want to help you, because no one was there for me.”
So Gi-hun does still believe in other people. That’s disappointing. Perhaps In-ho does have a purpose in this relationship, after all. Maybe his role is to show Gi-hun that other people are not worth looking out for. He can’t deny that he finds the idea attractive. To pull Gi-hun back to earth and crush his faith in people the way In-ho’s was.

Summary
One rose. Then another. Scarlet, white, pink - each one of them left by the Frontman himself feels like a careful probe along the fragile border between them. At first, Gi-hun destroys them furiously, but the flowers keep appearing in his dark life. On his doorstep. In abandoned buildings. Even atop his own bed.
Gi-hun throws them away. Then he keeps one. Then he starts waiting for the next. And somewhere along the way, he realizes the thorns cut the giver’s hands like knives. They split open his armor, let something alive bleed through. And oh, Gi-hun has never been able to hurt anything alive.
This love begins with a rose.

Summary
“No, when you—when you smile like that,” Gi-hun says, shuddering. “It makes me miss him.”
“Who?” In-ho asks. He can’t help it, Gi-hun always piques his curiosity. “Jung-bae sshi? Sang-woo sshi?” He uses their real names for once. After hearing some of Gi-hun’s stories on the rare occasions he felt like sharing, In-ho can't help but use their names in place of their numbers. It makes In-ho feel like he knows them, too.
He's often thought about shooting Jung-bae with shaking hands, watching the hopelessness in his eyes as he turned to face Gi-hun. But what felt like pricks of guilt then, feels like sharp pains in his chest these days. He rolls around at night, and thinks, and feels. It’s a mystery why.
In-ho looks at Gi-hun sitting in front of him, the visceral reaction to Jung-bae’s name still strong as ever.
Is it really a mystery anymore? The influence of Seong Gi-hun and the thousand souls he carries with him is quite strong.
or: gi-hun and in-ho make it out alive, but gi-hun wants nothing to do with the latter. unfortunately, in-ho has other plans.
