He was a jerk and you were just finding your best friend at a Hunter Exam. Anytime he spoke to you it was rude or mean, and lord don't get started with how much he teased. Soon enough though, Y/n realizes that something is different and she might not be the only one.
Killua was bored and thought the Hunter Exam would be fun, but turns out he found a little more than entertainment. A best friend and his sister? At least that's what they seemed like. What were these weird feelings, weren't assassins supposed to be emotionless.
Soon enough, things began to change, and who knows if it was for the best or worst.

She becomes a Hunter mostly for fun… and maybe to see what happens if she stops running for once.
She doesn’t plan on collecting people along the way. But somehow a sunshine idiot, a white-haired assassin with too many walls, and a handful of other disasters end up becoming hers.
The problem?
The past doesn’t stay buried. Old monsters recognize her. Old names follow her. And the calm, detached mask she wears starts cracking the longer she stays.Still, if she can joke through the trauma, outsmart whatever tries to kill them, and bully Killua just a little, she’ll be fine. Probably.
