Steve had been touch-starved as long as he could remember, chalk it up to absent parents or something. Usually it wasn't a problem, after all, he had plenty of friends who were more than happy to give him the affection he needed. The only issue was that sometimes, his brain liked to confuse the happy hug chemicals with romantic attraction, and Steve reeeaally didn't want that to happen with his new friend Eddie. Right?
