I love this series. Part one was mega angsty though on behalf of Izzy/Ed suffering and Izzy leaving baby Stede.

Summary
Modern AU with age-regressed Izzy and Daddy Stede, likely mostly also sickfic.
One note I want to make is that time spans pretty long between two fics. Darling Daddy happens a few years after Darling Boy. The rest are closer in range. Ed and Izzy have a lot of shit to work out.

Cheng Xiaoshi didn’t read. He had the usual list of books— ones he’d read since he was a child, dutifully logged on one of the many websites that catered to finding your soulmate— but the list was short, and he hadn’t added to it since he graduated.
It was just… ridiculous to think that he could find someone willing to love him. Even if they were made for each other, even if it was fate that they would meet— he’d been burned before. People who were supposed to stay, people who had no choice but to love him didn’t. This wouldn’t be any different. He already knew the ending before his own story even began; just another book he refused to read.Or: People can see the notes their soulmate took on any book they read (so long as their soulmate has also read it). Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang are soulmates, but they don't know because Cheng Xiaoshi doesn't read.
