Summary
Dave Strider is a vampire, and he also happens to be the subject of a crush by a certain Karkat Vantas. When the first man flees the scene of infatuation, the second enlists the help of his best friend to track down this mysterious creature of the night. Considering that Dave lives with his sister, and that Karkat's dear friend is very, very much in love with women, it's obvious that this entire affair will obviously go off without a hitch. Right? Totally right.

Dave Strider has never exactly been lucky, but today must be the worst one yet. First, his car dies on the side of some random mountain road. To add insult to injury, after he exited the vehicle, it was promptly smashed by a semi truck. Now, he's lost. He's lost in the middle of fucking nowhere, and he has no idea what to do.

It only takes one gas-station, a bag worth of pies, many cigarettes, some yelling, painfully awkward silence and a singular tiny man-tear to get to know someone. Also, a converted Subaru Forester that smells like granola boy socks.

Summary
This is my swing at Varian and the Seven Kingdoms. I have a ton of ideas that I’ll try to do justice, and I’m really excited about where this story will go !!
Varian is discontented. Sure, he has everything, but he lacks a purpose. The world seems to be moving on without him. So, when he comes into possession of his deceased mother Ulla’s journal detailing Seven Trials that could unlock infinite knowledge, he sets off on a quest that will forever change his life.
