Summary
Hongjoong walked up the staircase, immediately spotting the source of the intruder. He blinked twice, thrice, and once again.
It was a mermaid. Merman? No, mermaid sounded better. Male with blossom pink hair. His tail was matching the color of his hair, so vibrant that Hongjoong questioned how did he hide in the narrow waters. It looked like all the dazzling gemstones Hongjoong collected; ribboned and see through on the end.
He couldn’t see his face; he was facing his broad back, contrasting with his small waist perfectly. Before he had the chance to ask, shuffling could be heard behind him and San’s face showed up on the stairs. When he spotted the mermaid, he stayed dumbfounded, starring back and forth between his captain and the creature.
,,Be that a…?”-Hongjoong bobbed his head.
,,A mermaid.” -The mermaid laughed; but he still hasn’t turned around to face the pirates. San approached his captain and lowered his head. His whispers were calm and collected; but Hongjoong sensed fear.
,,It nay be a siren cap’ain, right?”
,,Nay, it be safe. Sirens look different.”
