Link and Zelda are two deaged children from the far future, with a lot of trauma, a lot of problems, and a lot of fears. Sonia takes it upon herself to be the support these children who are mysteriously too smart for their age, and inadvertently becomes a mother in the process.

Summary
Sleep refused her that night. Despite the darkness and her fatigue, no sleep overcame her. She sat there, mind consumed by questions and miserable feelings. What had Zelda ever done to deserve this? Any of this? Why would Link not trust her enough to ask for help? Why was he so… empty? Why had he cut open his arm?
The questions remained, unanswered and piling atop one another with no end to them in sight. And so they piled up, and up, and up. The final thought she had before she finally sank beneath the tides of consciousness was an idle prayer to Hylia. It was the first time she had prayed to Hylia since before activating her powers. Years of stony silence from the goddess had only served to sever the princess’s belief in her power to help.
And yet, for some reason, she prayed. “Hylia,” she thought exhaustedly, “Just make Link trust me. Let me help him…” Her thoughts trailed off into meaninglessness and faded into restless dreams. The final thing she saw as sleep laid claim to her again was a golden beam of sunlight pressing into her eyes.

Link is turned into a child by Hylia post-botw, for seemingly unknown purposes, as Link learns to trust others and eventually find his way back to being okay

Summary
Sonia would never, in a million years or longer, have expected for two children to literally fall from the sky in a flash of golden light. Additionally, she wouldn’t have expected for one of them to be her own flesh and blood from far in the future. Finally, she never would have expected to form such a bond with children she equally hadn’t expected to exist in the first place, let alone in just short of a month.
And yet, here she was, gently shaking Zelda awake on the top half of a bunk bed. It was early, right before the sunrise, and Sonia and the two children were going to spend the morning out. “Zelda, darling? Wake up, sweetheart!”

In which Sonia becomes the mother of two deaged children from the future, and life is good. Shameless fluff, no conflict to be had here, but there's a series brewing and this is me having dessert before dinner. Enjoy!

Sussie squawked, and he hopped down to her dresser drawers. Rumi eyed him, not sure what the bird was up as he pecked at the handle. Before she could ask, though, Sussie got the drawer opened, and he hopped inside.
“What are you d—”
His little head emerged with a pacifier in his beak.
“Hey!” Rumi hissed, hopping to her feet. Her face burned as she ran after Sussie, but the bird flew over to her bed’s headboard. “Give me that!” Rumi fussed as quietly as she could. The last thing she needed to do was wake up Mira or Zoey with this. She snatched the pacifier out of Sussie’s beak and glared at him. “How’d you know about this?” she asked. Sussie squawked.
