Summary
Freed after three ages in chains, Melkor returns to Valinor cloaked in false penitence, sowing discord among the Noldor. Yet when his gaze falls upon Lady Artanis - not yet Galadriel, but already radiant and unyielding - his hunger for light stretches beyond the Silmarils.
His plan is set: destroy the Two Trees, steal the Silmarils, and take her with them.
But in the depths of Angband, it is Sauron - Melkor’s most trusted servant - who becomes her jailor. To him she is not merely a prize nor a challenge, but a reflection of all he has lost, and a vision of what he might still claim.
Caught between Melkor’s shadow and Sauron’s relentless design, Galadriel must face a terrible choice: surrender her light, or let it burn brighter than ever. Even if it consumes her.

Summary
This is a translation of The Black Book of Arda (first edition, 1995), one of the most influential texts of the post-soviet Tolkien fandom. Written in the 90's, it's a retelling of The Silmarillion from Melkor's point of view. Almost. Not quite.

Summary
A new threat emerges following Voldemort's defeat.
A brutal and aspiring Dark Lord seeks to emulate Voldemort's legacy and exceed it.
Hermione is tasked to do all she can to both cut short the carnage and convalesce the victims; unfortunately the knowledge she needs is already dead and buried in a grave in Little Hangleton.
She cannot resurrect the dead; she is forbidden from travelling to the past. But Hermione is a resourceful witch. The world of dreams does not abide by the laws of time or mortality.
She will find Tom Riddle there. She will get what she needs from him. And she will once again live up to her reputation as the smartest witch of her generation.
She will be in complete control. Naturally.

Galadriel's mouth opens then closes.
She may have thought of him, the Dark Lord, on his knees in front of her; equal parts exciting and terrifying. The perfect imperious slope of his profile, the dismissive turn to his lips. How it had all softened when his head met her middle.
A guilty tendril curls through her. She swallows it down, and finds her voice. "I have done no such thing."

When Sauron stabs Galadriel above Eregion he unknowingly opens a rift in their minds that will haunt the two of them through the second and third age, and on until the end of the world.

Halbrand dipped his head, and Galadriel’s heart jumped in anticipation, but his lips only grazed her cheek. “You’re the one who said ours was no chance meeting. We were brought together for a reason.”
“We should stay focused on the difficult journey ahead,” she whispered. “Distractions during the upcoming battle could be fatal.” This venture was only an expedition but would likely turn into something much deadlier.
“That is tomorrow’s concern, which I will treat with utmost seriousness and urgency,” Halbrand vowed. “But what of tonight?” He asked in a low voice, his lips hovering just above hers.
Galadriel could hardly breathe. And could think of no more excuses to not reach for what her heart greatly desired.
