Summary
The War Devil would never lower herself to being a Fiend, even after Chainsaw stole so much from her that was something she would never consider. As she licked her wounds she happened upon a dying young girl an idea came to her, if Control could pretend to be human so could she, all she needed was a bit of information. The girl wouldn't be using her memories any time soon, they were much better used to give the War Devil the ability to pass as a human. Little did War know, Asa Mitaka's memories would be a lot more trouble than they were worth.

Summary
On the verge of suicide, Asa Mitaka finds an injured bird. Unable to ignore it's suffering, she saves it, unknowingly changing the course of her entire life. Once finding out her beloved bird Yoru is a devil, she accepts her, despite not knowing her true name or history. When secrets that have been hidden from her are revealed, she must figure out what devils she can trust, which she can not, and what side Yoru falls on.
The War Devil returns to Earth in a weakened state as an owl, only to be saved by an empathetic girl who has no idea of her true identity. Once she is able to heal and regains her true form, she is presented with an opportunity to restore her previous strength and plunge the world into war once again. However, developing feelings for Asa make her question what she truly wants, and what she is willing to give up.
