Sirius didn't know where he thought it could possibly go, it was charmed to stay in place, but his nerves were getting the best of him. James told him he was being silly. Remus would say yes, and they were perfect for each other. Sirius was certain that Remus was it for him, the love of his life, but that didn't mean he wasn't anxious.

Summary
Sirius tries—if there’s a God out there even if they doubt it, then God knows they try— to keep their heart quiet in their chest but truth be told, the moment they make a step in Remus’ direction and catch his eyes, the thing hammering their ribcage has melted right on the spot. It’s nowhere to be seen. Reduced to a hot puddle in the pit of their stomach.
“Hi. Remus, Moons, hi. Hm, hello.”
Sirius internally facepalms themselves. How come they can put on a show and fuck their toys for thousand subscribers to see, but saying hi to Remus is somehow impossible without sounding like a complete moron?✧ Or, Sirius is screwed. It's one thing to perform naked in front of a camera, it's another to feel bare as fuck in front of Remus Lupin. Who knew romancing someone was so freaking scary?
