And that’s when it hits him. Ezreal’s blushing cheeks, his sheepish look and awkward way of sitting on the edge of the bed. Ezreal knows.
He knows it’s a rut.
As if on instinct, in fear of being tempted and hurting the popstar, Kayn retreats again, further and further away until his back hits the bed’s headboard, his legs open and moving fast as he uses them to push himself away.
Kayn is too worried for Ezreal to notice the popstar’s eyes slowly looking down, following the scale-like pattern from his face to his neck, then a bit down his chest, until his human flesh is back again on his stomach, a trail of dark hair helping Ezreal’s eyes to find their way down… there.
“O-Oh.”, Ezreal coughs, his eyes unable to look anywhere else, “You… You have both… in this form..?”

Once he braces against the harsh wind, he glances down at the body beside him, and where it was completely covered before, he now sees a face – pale, flanked by white hair, almost as white as the fresh snow around him, with faint blue markings on the cheeks. But perhaps the most interesting things are the tiger-like ears that stick up from his hair.
After an afternoon hunt, Kayn stumbles across an unconscious and very curious man half-dead in the snow. Perhaps foolishly, Kayn takes him home.
