Summary
When Catra and Adora moved to Republic City to make a new start for themselves, the last thing they expected was to run into an old friend of Adora’s from college. Now, living with two other couples, Catra has to come to terms with her past, as well as the odd relationship dynamic she’s beginning to notice amongst her housemates.
Chapters will be mostly from Catra’s POV with some other characters sprinkled in. Slow burn, angsty freeform writing with Korrasami/Bumbleby/Catradora polyamory as endgame. Tags will be updated as I write, later chapters will probably bump the rating to explicit. See notes in chapter one for worldbuilding info.

Summary
Three members of the golden quartet take the Floo Network out of London after Adora is put on Holiday after a trying case she’s been working. Bow and Adora thought it wise to warn the unsuspecting party, but Glimmer doesn’t want to take no for an answer, and so, that’s how Catra spills her wine at the door—shocked, and bewildered—as Glimmer shoves her way into Catra’s flat in New York with a sheepish Bow and Adora in tow.
And Catra thought the Americans were the dramatic ones.

They are Glimmer, Bow, and Adora.
Then I saw her.
I didn’t notice her short hair, nor her sleek, professional outfit. No. I noticed her eyes.
Those eyes that I saw cry. Those eyes that made me cry. I know those eyes because I’ve gotten lost in them many times in the past. I recognize those irises; I can distinguish thoes irises. Anyone can say, “They’re blue and gold,” but they’re not. They are Sea and Earth.
How do I know? I know because she let me name her irises; she allowed me to call them that way.

Adora is part of a band called "The Princesses of Power." After reaching the height of their popularity, they are trying to return to the stage with their second studio album. Since their music producer is busy with scheduling issues, the record label must turn to someone else… Adora is in for a surprise when she discovers that the new producer is Catra, her childhood best friend. I mean, her ex–best friend.
