Trigger Warning: This is going to feature a really realistic look inside what an eating disorder looks like. I’m not a specialist or anything but this is based on what I experienced from suffering from one!

Paul can’t get over the sensation that there are two entirely separate sets of people in the same place. One set is their physical bodies in the room, where Ringo is talking and Paul is sitting on the bed and George is watching silently and John is looking crestfallen. The other set is just four beings of consciousness, trying to communicate like they used to, through thought and through imagined bars of music, notes snatched from the ether and knocked together, or stacked on top of each other, or spread out on the floor like old photographs.

Arata’s words had only worsened his self hatred, in less than a month it felt as if he was back to being a hated solo street artist. No matter what he did, it wasn’t enough. He wasn’t anywhere near the skill of his team, the skill needed to surpass RAD WEEKEND. And that’s his fault, he hasn’t practiced enough.

Teru had come to expect the unexpected at all times. It was how he had stayed alive for so long when his job was as dangerous as it was. And after the past few days, he didn’t think anything could surprise him anymore. The supernaturals and school mysteries he had known and seen everyday for the entire time he attended Kamome academy had disappeared without a trace. One of his underclassmen had vanished as well with no one aside from three people even remembering her existence. Nothing could shock him at this point.
But somehow Akane managed to anyway.
