  Summary

  When Washford was a melodramatic washing machine, he never had to worry about his eyes tiring out whenever he read long into the night and into the early hours of the morning. In fact, he could digest so many pieces of literical excellence that it felt that his eyes were being blessed rather than fatigued. Unfortunately, even though Washford's hunger for the written word remained the same once he and his beloved Drysdale were realized, metal turned to flesh, the persistent strength of his eyes weakened.

Not to mention, since I live right above this establishment with all the dryers, this means the fact is indirectly connected to my fine self, which is just so wonderful, isn’t it?”

  Washford could practically hear him wink, a smooth warm drift in his tone, which usually would make him roll his eyes and wonder what the other is playing at. In part, he did with a little smile attached. However, there was something oddly sincere, a little sweet and a tad silly about the other man that made him gesture a hand for him to continue.

  They were huddled together on the floor of the crummy flower shop; a cracked ceramic plate rested on their outstretched legs. Their thighs were pressed together, kissing, as a certain Gravis Mushnik was smooching the rim of a bottle of strong brandy. His excuse being if this is a wedding reception, someone might at least get drunk. Audrey and Seymour, completely content in being drunk in their own passions and smiles, let the old man get up to his own devices. Those devices being, using a bottle as a microphone as he swayed to the song on the radio.
