Summary
When Blitzen and Hearthstone had first met Magnus Chase, it was never supposed to be anything more than an assignment. They were told not to get too attached.
But 3ish and some change years later, Hearth realizes they're both entirely too deep and not one of them is sorry for it. Neither is Magnus
(bad at summaries, but basically I wanted to see more stories about how Blitz and Hearth first met Magnus than I did. There needs to be more empty cup family fics in general. More Blitzstone, platonic or otherwise, too. there's your homework kids lol.)

Summary
At some point during all their adventures and mishaps, Casey and Donnie end up slowly losing interest in April and instead start glancing at each other. Of course, a person's first ever romantic rejection takes a bit of a hit on their self-esteem, made even worse by the fact that Donnie's was already the lowest of his brothers to begin with, but perhaps it's a problem that none other than Casey Jones can fix.

After the last near "tragedy" (or so the dwarves are calling it, Bilbo's about done with them), Bilbo doesn't cut his hair and instead lets it go long. Except now, now he's almost home, his dwarves insisting on escorting him back, and he's got long hair he doesn't know what to do with.
When Thorin offers to braid his hair, Bilbo reluctantly agrees, if just to have something to remember the dwarf by.
Except it doesn't do Thorin any favors. Bilbo was already attractive enough, and now there are braids. In his hair.
And if Fili and Kili don't stop snickering, Thorin's content to return to Erebor without his heirs.
