Summary
After being exiled from the mushroom kingdom after a failed assassination attempt on princess peach, y/n travels over to Bowser castle seeking asylum, expecting to be either thrown out immediately or be taken prisoner. They instead find a gracious and generous king, and a very attentive and loving father. Aiming to get on Bowser's good side, y/n forms a parent-like relationship with Bowser jr. Taking notice, Bowser starts behaving very strangely around them, leading Bowser jr. and Kamek to play match-maker.

Nobody is really sure when the world ended; was it when the bombs fell, or was it when we locked a race of sentient beings underground and erased all evidence of them? Since nobody knows about the latter, most would say the former. A single day, over 210 years ago, decimated the planet, and the survivors have been picking up the pieces ever since.
