Summary
One time he’s sent on a mission. It doesn’t look out of the ordinary, another burst pipe after the whole Shroud ordeal. Waterboy thinks back to his hug with Phenomaman for some reason. It felt so warm and so secure and he didn’t even flinch! Truly… Phenomenal.
“I… I’m done, Robert!” Stuttering doesn’t show up as often either, much to Herman’s relief.
“Great. Come back to SDN, it’s almost lunch break.” Robert says and then Herm’s comms beep. He’s gone to consult someone else, probably.
The pipe made quite a mess. All that greasy water, sometimes with some kind of litter, bugs and whatnot. Waterboy stops it to the best of his ability but then he looks around sorrowfully. He can’t stay to clean up, not really.
Then something happens. The water starts freezing. He jumps away, gasping, looking around. Ice covers most of it now, including the sofa that Herman resides on currently. That’s… Weird. Herman knows water doesn’t behave like that on its own.
“H-h-hey, Rob… Robert!” He calls in the comms, glancing at the camera. “C-can you check if… S-someone else… Stuck? Here?”

"How were you not feeling at all nervous?" Kaveh asked. They were exhausted. After everything that had happened in Sumeru and then having to reorganize their entire house... they were definitely due a break. But Kaveh was still confused about how Alhaitham was so... calm. Sure, the man was collected and remained stoic in every situation possible – irritating, how does he do that anyway – but... with the prospect of all of Teyvat ending, surely he was at least a bit nervous, right?
Alhaitham remained silent, as if he didn’t hear the other man. Now that the blond stopped to really look at him, the scribe looked... bad. Okay, he was still unfairly beautiful, but Kaveh couldn't recall the last time he saw Alhaitham with dark circles under his eyes.
"I was, actually."
or what if Alhaitham wasnt so composed as he claimed to be on the AQ.

Olruggio wrapped his arms around Qifrey’s waist and pulled him close. He rested his chin on Qifrey’s shoulder, warm and real and solid. Qifrey returned the gesture, his eye sliding shut. He let out a breath. They remained that way for a long while, leaning against each other. This could not ease Qifrey—he’d managed a delicate balance that allowed him to indulge in these small ways while retaining his ever-present fear—but Olruggio’s weight became heavier and heavier as he relaxed into it.
Qifrey could do these things for Olruggio; he could take care of him, though it would never make up for everything that he had done.

Qifrey remembers every time he’s erased Olruggio’s memory.
He remembers the first time Olruggio learned about the Silverwood. The second. The fifth. The twentieth. He remembers every promise, every argument, every desperate attempt to stop him. And every time Olruggio chose him anyway.
Olruggio, meanwhile, remembers nothing.
Except…that’s not entirely true. There are gaps that feel too deliberate. Sketches he doesn’t remember drawing. Notes written in his own hand that don’t make sense anymore. And a quiet, persistent certainty that no matter what he’s forgotten, he’s made this choice before.
As the Silverwood begins to stir again, Qifrey resolves that this will be the last time. He won’t let Olruggio sacrifice himself again.
Unfortunately, Olruggio has never been very good at letting Qifrey decide things alone.
