Post AC Cloud goes back in time to save the planet. He has a bunch of Reeve's and Cosmo Canyon's work with him and the plan is to steer tech in a different direction, hopefully (and maybe kill some people while Cloud's at it). In order to do this though, they need to work together and in order keep meeting without raising any alarm bells, they do pretend relationship.

Summary
To curb the rampant hostility in alpha prisons, Yorknew City has implemented an experimental Omega Therapy Program. After a risk assessment, alpha inmates are paired up with omega volunteers for visitation periods. For the alphas, the program is intended to provide a sense of normalcy, comfort, and serve as an incentive for them to be well-behaved.
For Kurapika, it's an opportunity to get close to Tserracnich so he can finally put that monster down for good. If he can get assigned as Tserracnich's therapy omega, that is.

Objectively she wasn't wrong about that. His eyes stung. It was different for him though. Four years ago he stayed in the Cloud Recesses for the guest lectures and was thrown out by Lan Qiren in the end. How would he survive living there?
Or: Wei Wuxian marries into the Lan Sect expecting to be miserable but slowly learns to make it and the people of the Lan Sect his home. And maybe he'll even get to keep it for once.
