Dash hears a beautiful voice coming from the school's showers. Danny is singing his angsty self away. What happens when Dash finds out that Danny is depressed as heck and has lots of self-confidence issues? Or when Dash finds out Danny's secret?
So this was originally gonna be a one-shot style prompt sort of thing for the first chapter, so it's in the third person. But people wanted me to continue so I changed it to first-person from Danny's point of view! Neat! But if people don't like it I am not against editing it back to be third person.
(9/27/23 Edit: hey so I promise I haven't abandoned this fic. It haunts my consciousness too much to leave it unfinished, so I am gonna try to wrap this up so I can put it to rest. Thanks for sticking it out with me.)

Sarek sits at the dinner table, pushing around his plomeek with the white fine china spoon, thoughts wandering to illogical things such as Amanda, who would belittle him for playing with his food. "It's gonna get cold honey," She would say, smiling before turning to speak to Spock about how his day was at school.
Surak, he misses her.
Breaking him out of his thoughts, Sarek looks up from his half-forgotten bowl of plomeek to see not only Spock, but a boy with gold hair and crystal blue eyes of about Spock's age, twelve, eating a slice of greasy pepperoni pizza smiling and laughing at Spock, who had the vulcan equivalent of glee on his face.
Sarek clears his throat so that the boys turn to look at him and stop talking. They do, Sarek speaks before Spock opens his mouth.
"Spock, who is this?" Spock looks sheepish before responding. "This is Jim, father, he's living with us now,"
Or, Sarek and soon enough, Chris Pike adopt everyone from the Enterprise as their own. Shenanigans ensue.

Jim knew Bones had a daughter, of course. It wasn’t long after they’d met that the truth of the whole damn planet was revealed to be more than just money, friends, reputation, house and an expected future, but a toddler with Bones’ hair, hazel eyes, and heart-shaped face. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas at the academy the doctor had disappeared to Georgia for several days, returning from the carefully controlled visitation with a mixture of melancholy, anger, and a dire need for expensive whiskey. Despite that, Joanna had remained simply a fact about Bones, rather than something Jim had actually experienced first-hand.
They had decided to go to a beach to celebrate Jim’s slow recovery finally reaching a turning point... Now they were going to Georgia instead. Both of them.
