Louis shoved him off and was pulling his fist back from Harry’s abdomen before he realized his face wasn’t tingling because of the pain.
It pooled out from his cheek, over his face, down his neck and spine. A shiver in the late September night. Heat, sparks - whatever you wanted to fucking call it.

Louis couldn’t even comprehend what that meant; his stomach was churning and if he was going to die, he wished it wouldn’t be so drawn out. He didn’t know why the man in front of him was a bazillion foot tall, why everything around him was mountainous, and why he was tied up in the first place. He knew nothing but his own name, really.
“Still,” the man continued. “I’m Harry. You can and should call me sir, show me some respect.”

This time, when Harry stretched a hand out, he kept pushing till a large finger lightly traced down his body, making him whimper and try to buck away, to no avail. He couldn’t breathe.

When Louis turns twenty-one, he receives a call from the National Secondary Gender Services alerting him to prepare for his first rut. Everyone presents two to three days after their twenty-first birthday, and all heats and ruts require medical supervision just in case one thing goes wrong:
