Summary
Reki has spent his whole life just trying to survive, too scared to show emotion or cry around the people who made lock it all away. Running away should’ve been easy if it meant freedom—right? But, unfortunately for him (and because I like writing angst), the past isn’t so easy to escape. Taken in by Kaoru and Kojiro, he struggles to accept the care they offer, haunted by the fear that it’ll all be ripped away. As he fights to suppress the pain of his past, his body begins to fail him, and he starts to spiral. But no matter how much he tries to lock it all away, the truth is catching up to him. And when it does, will he finally let himself break—and maybe, just maybe, be saved?

Summary
Reki fell all the time. it was a rite of passage in skateboarding, and a very regular occurrence.
Of course, he tried to avoid falling as much as he could- but it wasn't really possible to completely avoid falls, so he at least made sure to get back up every time.Sometimes though, he would think about what it would be like to let himself fall. Give in to the exhaustion he normally fought through, and go out with the specific intention of falling. A fall he wouldn't get back up from.
This was one of those times.

Summary
Langa gently applies an ointment, making sure not to hurt Reki in the process. With all his focus on his arms, he doesn’t notice how Reki stares at him. Langa was always so delicate with him, like he was something precious, carefully wiping away any access blood and spreading the gel softly over the tender wounds in a way Reki would never do for himself. The thoughtfulness makes his heart beat faster. What did the blue haired boy see in him that Reki couldn’t?
