Summary
Paris, 1874. Poursuivant ses rêves de renommée, Tenzô a tout sacrifié pour échapper à ses origines modestes et étudier à l’École des Beaux-arts. Il craint maintenant de ne jamais pouvoir atteindre les impitoyables standards de perfections en place à l’École. Kakashi, un aristocrate devenu bohème, l’introduit au récent courant dissident de Montmartre, fraîchement baptisé « impressionnisme ». Tenzô, s’il goute enfin à la liberté dans l’expression de son art, retrouve également la faim, l’instabilité, et la débine qu’il avait tant lutté pour laisser derrière lui. Kakashi, qui peut toujours retourner à la sécurité de son domaine familial qu’il méprise pourtant, ne comprendra peut-être jamais ce qui se joue pour Tenzô.

Summary
For Tenzō, leaving behind his small-time animation job in Saskatchewan for a role with Delittry Feature Animations in sunny Southern California was a dream come true.
Or, at least, it should have been. But between the misleading job description, the mind-numbingly boring work, and the difficulty of finding an apartment he can afford, Tenzō is starting to wonder whether uprooting his life was the right decision.
So when the opportunity to freelance at White Fang, a small and independent studio, presents itself, Tenzō takes it. Even if it is a violation of his employment contract with Delittry. The risk is worth it for the chance to express himself creatively.
And with White Fang’s eccentric director, Kakashi at the helm, and his small team of rowdy creative-types, Tenzō is sure he’s in for quite the ride.
