His students had both gone with Ras.
His soul practically got ripped from him for several moments.
Jay lost his memories and absolutely hated them.
But speaking of the brunette, Lloyd found him sitting alone in the courtyard, where the moonlight poured in through the open area and pooled around Jay’s braced leg. The wind was light. Cold. It made the silence sharper somehow.
Jay didn’t look up when Lloyd approached.
He hesitated, standing just out of reach, unsure of what to say. What do you even say to someone who used to be your brother… and now barely knows your name?
